About Greg

I am perhaps a little different in that I do not like talking about myself, instead I enjoy meeting and learning about other people and am quite personable and easy to talk with. However, I guess, because this section is about me, I will go ahead and talk about me. I promise I will not bore you and I will not be wordy. I started my first real job at the age of 18 with a hotel company who owned at the time 14 hotels scattered around New England. My first position was a staff accountant position responsible for the accounting of 5 properties. Well, that only lasted a year and the VP operations asked me if I would like to work in an actual hotel, so off to Hyannis, Mass. I go to be an assistant front office manager, that was the beginning of a hotel career that would entail 14 different positions, 12 relocations throughout the United States  over the next 28 years. As you may imagine, I had enough and resigned 3 years ago in Jacksonville, Florida.

Most of my hotel career was in the operations and financial area with some sales experience along the way. I really liked the one on one relationship building that sales would allow along with trust which in my opinion is the single most important aspect of the sale, if they like you and trust you, quite often the sale is made, sounds easy, it can be with the right attitude and sincerity.

I said I would not be wordy and here I go, I’ll speed up a bit.

Three years ago I joined a home and business security company as a Life Safety Consultant, ( fancy title for a sales person ), my main objective was to help people secure their homes and business owners to secure their storefronts. I have been blessed to be quite successful in providing the safety and piece of mind for over 2,000 home and business owners throughout northeast Florida since my employment.

About one year ago, one of my peers at this company was discussing internet marketing with me and telling me many interesting aspects to this venue. I was excited and determined to get on with learning this newly found interest for me. David, ( his name ) would spend hours teaching various aspects of this internet stuff and I would go home after work and practice and implement some of the challenges he presented me with. I was having fun, I loved this stuff. Today is not much different, I continue to use the services of two mentors as I know I will never know all there is to know.

My passion today is to help as many people as I can with branding, SEO maximization, social networking and all of the rest. I am having a blast !
